Gold Digger Challenge
If the idea of killing partners as a black widow sounds extremely old-school, and also not reasonable enough, there’s a slightly tamer version of the challenge called Gold Digger’s Obstacle . It is extremely similar in guidelines to the Black Widow Challenge, making it a wonderful alternative.
Apocalypse Challenge
The Apocalypse Challenge has many restrictions and is, by design, extremely difficult in the very beginning. The way you
make life easier for yourself is by having Sims reach the tops of careers. Each career branch has its own set of restrictions tied to it. You must abide by all of those restrictions.
However, once a Sim reaches the top of a career branch, the restrictions related to that career branch are lifted. You no longer have to obey them. Even if that Sim quits their job, the act of reaching the top level of a career will permanently lift that career branch’s restrictions.
The Prison Challenge
There is a lot of public land and society in The Sims 4, and while there is a police station with a tiny holding cell, there was no actual prison before. This challenge involves the construction of a real in-game prison run by a warden tasked with capturing and rehabilitating a variety of prisoners.
100 Baby Challenge
In the 100 Baby Challenge, your goal is – you guessed it – to have 100 children in as few generations as possible. Sounds easy doesn’t it? Keep in mind that you have to raise all of those cubs at the same time while constantly producing children like a queen.
Serial Killer Challenge
Create a neighbourhood with plenty of neighbours, or use one of the premade ‘hoods, like Desiderata Valley.
Create a new vacant house using a premade lot.
Create an adult Sim and make him(or her) as creepy as possible. The first time I did this, I made a balding guy with oversized glasses and pale skin.
Move that Sim into the new house, all alone.
Once you rack up some funds (you don’t have to cheat, you can get your Sim a job if you want), you need to build your prison. This should consist of a moderately large room, separate from the house, with a lockable door and no windows. If you have OFB, line the room with shelves. The room should be big enough to contain several Sims at one time. You don’t have to put a roof on it, you can leave it open to the elements. I especially recommend this if you have Seasons, it adds to the fun. If you have University, use the unlockCareerRewards cheat and stick the cowplant in there for some Saw-level sadism.
Once your prison/oubliette is built, it’s time for your Sim to start his/her unofficial career as a serial killer. Wait for random neighbours/townies to amble by. Once they do, get your Sim to greet them and then lure them into the prison. Once they’re inside, quickly dash out and lock the door, trapping the helpless neighbour/townie in the room. Then let your Sim happily go about his business – build some skills, play, maybe even go shopping! – while the trapped Sim slowly dies from needs failure.
If you have the cowplant in there, you may get lucky and the starving Sim will get eaten, providing your killer with some ‘live long and prosper’ juice.
Once the victim has died, put their urn at the side of the room (or on a shelf) and go for the next victim. Alternatively, you can use boolProp to select the victim and tell them to go into the prison room.
Unusual difficulty of request
From the world of Sixam, you must infiltrate this race of Sims and inhabit their world with your own kind as well! This obstacle puts you in the shoes or boots or whatever aliens wear, of an alien. They should produce an uncommon Sim that uses camouflage around others.
Homeless Challenge
The Homeless Challenge is just what it sounds like – create a Sim, remove all their money, and have them rely on the public facilities available to them. The challenge in the Homeless Challenge comes with having very limited funds and utilizing public facilities in creative ways. Your Homeless Sim is not allowed to get a job, but may earn money through hobbies, fishing, collecting, and gardening. The challenge ends when your Sim earns enough money to build a house.
Legacy Challenge
The Legacy Challenge is a set of self-imposed rules meant to change the way you play the game of The Sims 4. By abiding by the restrictions of the challenge and reaching for the goals of the challenge, you will find yourself getting a very different experience from The Sims 4 that you might have playing casually. The Legacy Challenge tasks you with creating a single founder Sim moving them in to a giant lot, and starting out in abject poverty. Your founder must build their house, build their wealth, and ultimately bring in the second generation to continue when they die. In this challenge you play a single family for 10 full generations.
